-Engine model that the alternator is designed to work with , in this case, it’s 6BD1:
-Digger model, in this case , it is Hitachi EX200-2
-Specification, in this case , it is 24V 30A
-Part no: 1-81200-440-2
24V is the DC voltage of the digger battery which be charged by the alternator. 30A is the alternator output electric current. Those specification usually could be found on the plate of your old alternator. compare those specification from the old alternator with the new alternator.
the voltage must be same. The output electric current of the new alternator should be same or close to the old alternator .
We will also tell you a Part NO which is from the digger manufacturer. In this case, the part no is 1-81200-440-2 which is from Hitachi.
If your old alternator is the original one from Hitachi. you should be able to see the part no on your old alternator. If the part no on your old alternator is the same one we provide. The alternator is more than likely to be the correct one for your machinery
But the problem is not that simple. Hitachi EX200-2 diggers may have different engines. So you need to check the engine model with your digger. There is a model plate on the engine where you should be able to check the engine model number.
We also provide the actual photo for the alternator in the front, back, left, right, top .
You may take those photos and compare them with your old alternator. If the appearance is the same, the digger model is the same and the engine number is the same too. Then we can confirm that this is the correct starter for your digger.
In some cases it is possible that for example your digger is not the Hitachi EX200-2. but the engine model is 6BD1. That’s very possible because 6BD1 is a popular engine model made by Isuzu. This engine is used by many digger manufacturers and digger models. Other machines like a bulldozer or loader may even have one too. In this situation, the alternator could still possible be used with your machinery. In this situation you should look at the photos and compare them with your old alternator. If the appearance is same. The alternator is still likely the correct one for your machinery.
